The 5* Black Beck site is just to the West of Newby Bridge at the South end of Windermere in the Lake District, with easy access from the M6.Set among trees, the holiday home is on a roomy plot with decking, grassed area and adjacent parking.  It is South East facing with views of the Lakeland fells

 

 

We first visited the site for a look around in 1992 and asked the owner what facilities were there, his reply was “nothing but peace and tranquility” and not a lot has changed since that time.The static caravan is the 32 foot long Belvedere model at the top end of the Carnaby range.  It has a fantastic internal layout with lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen.  The separate sleeping area has a double bedroom with ample fitted furniture and direct access to the bathroom and shower.  There is also a twin bedroom.  The large Lounge features a gas fire, television and comfortable seating.  The dining area has a table and chairs.  The fully equipped kitchen has gas hob, oven, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster; with all cutlery and crockery provided.

 

 

Outdoors there is a south east facing decking area enclosed with balustrade, perfect for sitting out and enjoying the sun. Patio table, chairs, parasol and BBQ are provided.You will often find your grassed area adjacent to the holiday home shared with rabbits and ducks.Mains electricity and Gas is included.The caravan is no smoking.

 

 

There is a small convenience store on site that stocks the essentials and also a launderette.

There is a Lakeland stone building containing a Jacuzzi, Sauna, gym equipment, showers, changing room and adjoining is a secure room where the children can play.  This is pre-booked by the hour and will be for your own exclusive use during that time and is free of charge.
